Hello! Tonight I bring you another product Born Pretty Store sent me for review: its pink double-ended dotting tools in five pieces with container. I already own dotting tools, so I was interested to see how these were different. They’re not really different, to be honest, but how can you go wrong with dotting tools, really? These tools are pink with BAO WANG written on them in small diamontes. I’m not sure what BAO WANG means, so it confused me a little, even after a Google search yielded no results. If you know what it means, let me know! I’d like to know if it has anything to do with nail art.
What I did like about these tools is that one of them is a curved tool (on both ends) so if you need something a bit tricksy done, you can reach it better. However, be careful! When I used one end of mine the dotting part fell off! I could plug it back in but it was annoying midway through dotting! Altogether there are 10 types of “dot” you can create with these tools, so there is a wide variety for all sorts of nail art. I should mention the container as well, which is pretty convenient. It fits all the dotting tools perfectly, with room for more supplies if you wanted. It also has soft padding in the lid so the dotting tools don’t hit the plastic (plus it reduces the rattle noise).
Now, here are three looks I created below. All are simple, but that’s how I’ve been wearing my nail art lately.
For this half moon design I created the dots and the half moon with just one dotting tool. Too easy!
For this design I layered two bright colours over black using two different sizes. I think the black base makes this really work.
Finally, I attempted a dotted gradient here, but it didn’t pan out, as you can see. I still like it though! I’ll be trying this again.

All in all I think these dotting tools are handy, but if you already own some you probably don’t need to go out and buy them. I’ll spruik it again – just in case you didn’t know, ha ha – but I now have my own Born Pretty Store code, HVX31, so please use it if you would like to get 10% off your next Born Pretty order (Born Pretty also has free shipping)! I like the first 2 designs you did. Plus it’s a good review, but I guess you’re right – you can’t go wrong with dotting tools. Although the problem you had threw me off a little.

Yes, the tool wasn’t “broken” but it didn’t seem to be connected properly, either. The tools were really nice to hold though.

Wow that’s a bit steep for dotting tools! I got my set for < $5 on eBay. Great review tho, as always, & I love the nail art!! 😀

I got my first set for that as well on eBay! I’m not sure about the price, either… I’m glad you like the dotting! 🙂

Oh wow, thank you for letting me know. Seems strange to put a name on it, perhaps it’s a brand name?
